Our key focus is to identify and unlock the development potential of underutilised sites, achieved by adopting a proactive approach to land buying. All delivered on a discrete and off-market basis.

Extensive initial research of targeted areas is undertaken both from a demographic and planning perspective. Specific sites are identified and then professional and constructive dialogue is entered into with the relevant land owners.

Once engagement has taken place, careful consideration is given not only to the value of the site but also to the optimum structure that best works for both parties to transact.

Conditionality of planning, flexibility of completion allowing for business relocation, the requirement for partial up from financial commitment or the total certainty of an unconditional purchase are all factors that will determine the eventual outcome. Equity participation by committing the land to a joint venture agreement and the consideration of future tax liabilities are additional considerations.

Our role is to identify the opportunity, investigate the best structure having considered all the relevant factors and thereafter work with all parties to facilitate a successful transaction.

We cover the core residential, mixed use, student, co-living and industrial sectors and have extensive coverage in each discipline.

We work closely with many residential developers whether they be national housebuilders, institutional build to rent investors, housing associations or smaller private property companies whilst on the student side we engage with both developers and operators. On the industrial side we work with the sectors main last mile logistic developers and leading funds.
